This is the sixth week of the "6 week Body Transformation" program. This is also the week where I almost completely fell off the wagon... I'm only going to the gym 2 times this week instead of 5, and I've been eating really badly. Rest is good every once in a while, and should be encouraged, it lets our bodies heal, and often time, allows me to get other stuff done, however I've been feeling pretty blah and low this week. This could be because I haven't been eating all that well, what with the japanese food last night (It was my Dad's Birthday), the Caramel Apple Spice (350 sweet sweet calories), the instant noodles with cheeze sauce (450 cal, 38% of your daily fat intake!), and y'know, Thanksgiving... But I also think it's because I haven't been working out as much, or lack of sunlight, or my body (and brain) is reacting bady to the increase of carbs and sugar... either way I've been feeling pretty gross. Strangely, I don't feel bloated, rotund, or in any way huge, but my energy and mood has been low.
I did however reach my goal of losing 10lbs, which I'm pretty happy about, and I'm also about 3" smaller in my waist, and about 2" smaller in my hips... this is also good. When I get back from Asia, I'm going to start seeing a nutritionist, mostly because I think my biggest issues are with food, and while working out is good for me, it's not the biggest factor when it comes to weight loss. I would like to lose another 10lbs, and then I think I'll be happy and switch to maintenence mode. I did do some digging up of old food journals and I realized that in the last 2 years or so , I've lost ~ 30lbs... which is awesome! I'm also pretty psyched about the fact that with this whole 6 week thing, is that I've lost the weight without giving up on the foods I love. I still ate pizza, cheese, and sushi, I even ate some cake and cookies... I just ate less of it, and most of the time, in smaller quantities, which means that I will probably maintain my current weight with my new habits, which is one of the biggest reasons I did this whole 6 week thing... I wanted to develop good eating habits.
So all in all, I think all this hoopla has been a success!
In other news I found out the pug can eat 5 pieces of sashimi in less than 30sec, even the octopus! I also started a new knitting project, a striped scarf, using some really lovely Noro Iro yarn that I've been hoarding for over 6 years.

| This picture has nothing to do with anything, other than the fact that I mentioned Pugs and Sushi... but I do find it really funny |
