So I picked up Ruby from the Vet's and instead of Cone-Pug, I got Stoned Pug. Either way, I'm happy to have her home.
I took Ruby into see the Animal Opthamologist this morning, to get this weird lump in her eye checked out. Turns out they don't know what it is, it could be benign tumor, it could be a wart, there is a slight chance it could be cancerous, but until they remove it and send it away for testing, they won't know for sure... so Ruby's getting surgery...again. On the plus side, they could fit her in today, so it won't be such a drawn out process like the whole leg thing. Oh, and since they're going to have to put her under anyways, they're going to remove her ugly lip wart! This is just basically bad news for my wallet (Thank Goodness for Pet Insurance!) and I'll have to live with whiny cone dog for at least 2 days.
