I finished another book, so I thought I should tell you, since it is one of my resolutions and everything... I read this book mainly based on this review. I enjoyed it, it took me a long time to read through because I'm easily distracted and I like to read before bed, so I tend to fall asleep whilst reading.

Most of the books I have out from the library are cookbooks, and while I do flip through them, and some of them have numerous pages of just text, I don't count them as "books". I don't know what my next book will be, but right now, I'm 4/10 books down. Granted, it's mostly light reading, but some reading is better than none.
My weekend was kinda crazy busy. Saturday I went on a neighbourhood walk with my dog club down in Cranston, I attended a Potluck at Julie's house, and then I went to Beerfest, afterwhich we went to District and I drank a mojito out of a one liter mason jar... Sunday was mildly better, I went to brunch and then down to Lilac fest. I've aleady started amassing strange tanlines on my chest, and only on my chest. Sadly, due to the earlier brunching, the group decided heavily against street meats, and I was too hungover to put up a fight, or go on my own. There was a waffle stand though...
I don't really have much to say other than:
- Cranston is really, really, far away. I'm glad I now live in the inner city. I can see the appeal of living in suburbia, but I know it's not the lifestyle for me.
- I felt way more comfortable surrounded by strangers at the potluck than at Beerfest. I think this is because everyone at the potluck loved food and was more open to conversation. Beerfest was very rowdy and chaotic, and felt more like a marketing opportunity for clubs/bars rather than a place to sample lots of beer.
- I love that I can order a bucket of bacon... I <3 District
